re: electrical problems
Okay folks, my mechanic reported back with a clean bill of health for my 200.
Says that my wife's driving is at fault! (Hey, Chrysler used to use that one...)
Anyway, what they said was that lots of short around town trips with no longer
stuff will sap the battery because of the accessories (fan, coolant pump) that
kick on when the ignition goes off.
So what's the deal? Do I buy an extended warranty and just unplug all that
useless stuff (prolly should remove it to boost the hp/weight ratio, right?)
Anyone else run into this particular little gotcha?
Should I pick up some farvegnugen (sp?) for my wife and get her to drive more
for fun? A solar panel for the roof?
