Many manufacturers use them in place of standard limited-slip rear diffs. The Hummer uses Torsen front and rear with standard manually locking center. BTW Reiner, the RAV4 (ugly piece of sh*t,IMO) uses a viscous center diff. Also, I don't think it has a low range which is a must for real off-roading.
