Thanks a lot to everybody who responded to my Ski-rack problem.

I totally agree that making a fairing myself is the most cheap and 
probably the most interesting solution. I will probably end up using a 
sheet of polyethelene (not very scratch resistant) or 
polymethylmethacrylate (very durable, but hard to cut). I'll have to wait 
till I have have so free time. 
Mean while I'll hunt around some more and call numbers that you gave me.
