After studying fluid mechanics and thermodynamics last year as a mechanical
engineering student, I fail to see the logic of such a device and how it can
"produce" such large gains in efficiency and power.

As the all knowledgeable Beavis would say:  "Uh huh huh huh.....coool"

That about sums it up for me.
